ACRO Reduces Engineering Lead Times by Using Web Conferencing ACRO has recently signed a contract with Glance to provide web conferencing. The Web Conferencing tool is used to host engineering drawing reviews, machine specification reviews and PowerPoint presentations. To use Web Conferencing, the customer or prospect simply logs onto a secure web site and enters the web conference. Their PC screen will then show the same images as the host PC at ACRO headquarters. Web Conferencing has been successfully used to quickly show customers their latest design revisions without having ACRO engineers have to travel to the customer site. This greatly increases ACRO’s ability to respond to customer requests in a timely manner. Most of the opportunities to collaborate are not scheduled, they just happen, and Web Conferencing lets ACRO take advantage of them. |
